Commute: Easy, Trail Difficulty: Easy – May Creek Park Trailhead
- From the Newcastle Library, take the 240 bus southbound to Coal Creek Pkwy SE & SE 89th Pl. Walk west along May Creek Park Dr. toward the May Creek Park Trailhead. Welcome to the May Creek Park Open Space area on your left! The scavenger hunt will be along this trail.
- Alternative route: Park at Lake Boren Park, walk along the Waterline Trail down to May Creek Park, and start the trailhead form there.
- Additional trailhead: Walk the May Creek Trail and back, cross the street, and walk up the Waterline Trail back to the Library. Lake Boren Park and Newcastle Cemetery are along this trail.
