Commission Seeks Feedback on Food Truck Regulations
Posted on 02/19/2021

Calling all Newcastle-ites! The City needs your feedback. The volunteer Planning Commission is considering legislation to regulate food trucks in our community. Essentially, what are your thoughts on food trucks?

How do mobile food vendors fit in with the character of the City? Where would you want to see food trucks (neighborhoods, special events, parks, block parties, etc.)? Did you attend our summer food truck series? Is this something the community would like to see continue? How can the City create food truck regulations that still keep brick-and-mortar businesses as the primary focus of retail in our community?

The Planning Commission wants your feedback on everything food trucks! They're hosting a virtual meeting on Wednesday, February 24, at 6 p.m. and they'd love to hear your comments. See below to learn how to attend the meeting and share your thoughts. View the meeting agenda packet here.
