A Message from the City of Newcastle: The City of Newcastle has made the very tough decision to cancel our 2020 Newcastle Days festival on Sept. 12. Unfortunately, there was too much uncertainty related to the COVID-19 outbreak and our staff and volunteers just do not feel we could safely hold the event and ensure everyone’s public health. 

The City of Newcastle is seeking participants to march in our 2020 Newcastle Days parade at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12. You can be a part of this community tradition and help us start the day off right! We're seeking community groups, organizations, school groups, sports teams, Scouts, neighborhoods, kids and bikes, residents and dogs to participate in the parade that winds through Lake Boren Park. If you'd like to join in on the fun, please fill out the Newcastle Days Parade Entry Form and email it to [email protected] by Aug. 1. We're asking participants in this year’s parade to create some sort of banner or sign that identifies the group (have fun and be creative with it)! Spread the word and share with your neighbors!
