SE May Creek Park Dr. Summer Road Closure

Beginning July 7, there will be road closure at the hairpin turn near the 12400 block of SE May Creek Park Drive. The closure was authorized for construction of a new culvert under SE May Creek park Drive.
As a part of the road improvements associated with the May Creek Park Assemblage project, the Developer is replacing the existing Newport Hills Creek 20-inch culvert with a 16-ft wide, 80-ft long bottomless box culvert.
Variable message boards will be installed at Coal Creek Parkway and 116th Ave SE, and we’ll be putting up detour signs. Construction is expected to last through August 27, 2021.
