Japanese Story Time

Toddler Story Time

Ages 1 to 3 with adult. Stories, songs and fun!

Movie Night: Coco
Monday, August 6, 6:30pm
Family program, all ages welcome with adult. Rated PG.

The Barn Dance Show
Wednesday, August 8, 3pm
Presented by Red Yarn. Family program, all ages welcome with adult. Join the crazy critters on the farm as they are getting ready for the big barn dance! Sing, dance, stomp and clap along with their traditional and original folk songs.

Rocks & Fossils Science Workshop
Monday, August 13, 11:30am
Presented by Heidi Larsen (Idea Hatch: STEAM for Kids). Ages 3 and older; younger children with adult.
Discover facts about rocks, fossils and dinosaur scat (otherwise known as poop!) -- all found in Washington State. Then explore a topographic map sandbox and create waves on an earthquake table.

Teens and Tweens

Upbeat Upcycling Maker Workshop
Tuesday, August 14, 6:30pm
Presented by KidsQuest Children's Museum.
Ages 12 to 17. Use your tinkering skills and recycled materials such as engineer cams and gears to create a music box. All supplies provided. Registration begins Tuesday, July 31, 7pm.


Ukulele Start-Up Music Workshop
Thursday, August 9, 7pm
Presented by Wes Weddell, musician and performer. Ages 16 and older. Everybody loves the ukulele, it's so happy-sounding and easy to carry – but how do you play it? Learn how by starting with the basics: how to tune it, hold it and soon you will be playing easy chords. Ukuleles provided, or bring your own. Limited spots, first come first served.
