When Aegis Living broke ground on its community on the shores of Lake Boren, the vision included more than luxury senior living. The creators imagined Aegis Gardens as a cultural epicenter — a place where the entire community can use the building’s resources.

That vision came to life in the facility’s Stan Head Cultural Center, which serves as a public space where the greater community is invited to attend special seminars, college prep lectures, music recitals, tai chi classes and much more. Aegis Gardens has already welcomed several community groups and nonprofits from the area to use the building as a meeting place. 

Every month, Aegis Gardens will release a calendar full of events open to the public. Join a tai chi class to integrate your mind with your body through flowing movements. There are also lectures on everything from college prep to aging.
